ANATOLIANS AT DREAMCATCHER FARM

DreamCatcher Farm's Rajah

We are so proud of our beautiful hardworking Anatolians. We have had Anatolian Shepards since 1995. Kovu and Rajah do a superb job guarding not only the goats, but the calves and cows, horses, the cat, and of course the family.  There instincts are so powerful , the training was a breeze. They already know what to do, you just have to leave them alone so they can do it, and of course diligently correct misbehavior.  They are intelligent, graceful, gentle with the stock and the children, yet bold and courageous when something in their charge is threatened. We have puppies and started puppies occasionally. Check  puppy  page for availability. We will work with you to get the best pup for your specific need. Our pups are born and socialized with the stock, however if a pup is wanted for a family guardian, we will socialize the pup for you.  We do pick up our pups occasionally. You will need to be able to handle your dogs over the course of their lives.  Our dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club. Contact us by phone or email for information on pedigrees.

PHF GENESIS

Possum Hollow's Genenis, is showing excellent working ability. She has bonded well with the goats and is staying with the herd in the back 30 acres.  She has just been introduced to the newborn kids and is doing wonderfully. She immediately submits and gives way to the kids. We look foward to the planned breeding of Kovu and Genenis.

FRANCHESCA

Our beautiful pinto anatolian, Franchesca, is a wonderful guardian. She has a very special bond with our cat Rizzo, that was instantaneous. Somehow within minutes they became best friends and if Franchesca is around, Rizzo is headed to her.  She is a very gentle dog, curious and courageous. She stands here, behind Genesis, on the hay bale that provides lots of fun.
